Green began his career as a defensive tackle but was shifted over to the offensive side of the ball in 2005. He was a reserve for two seasons before taking over at left guard and holding down that spot as a junior and senior.
Strengths
Green is an impressive athlete for an interior lineman. He gets out of his stance quickly and has the ability to easily get out and block on the move. He has quick feet and moves well laterally in pass protection as well. He also shows some ability to hold his ground at the point of attack and clear out a lane for his back to run through. With his mobility, Green may have some untapped potential at the center position with some work, increasing his versatility.
Weaknesses
Green is short, and has average size overall with limited growth potential. He also lacks the power to drive defenders off the line of scrimmage in the running game. He may only fit a zone blocking scheme in the NFL,
Future
Green is a solid prospect in the middle rounds of the draft that has some potential. He may not be a dominator at the point of attack but he can hold his own but excels at getting out on the move. He could be a nice surprise in the right scheme
