Fiammetta played in ten games as a freshman but did not tally any statistics. As a sophomore he ran for just 15 yards. He didnt accumulate many touches as a junior either, finishing with just eight yards rushing and 75 yards receiving. He had career highs as a senior, rushing for 66 yards and catching 16 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown.
Strengths
Fiammetta has the potential to be a solid all around fullback. His biggest impact in college came as a blocker. He has shown the willingness and toughness to put a hat on people and pave the way for his tailbacks to pick up yardage. He shows some athleticism to pick up blockers in space and get out and move down the field to block for his back. Fiammetta also showed decent speed, breaking off a 58 yard run as a senior. He is a solid receiver that caught 28 balls during his final two seasons with the Orangemen.
Weaknesses
Fiammetta did not get many chances to show his ability as a runner. He ran the ball just 16 times during his career for 89 yards. 58 of those came on one run. He appears to have some talent there but will be completely new to that role if he becomes a runner in the NFL. As a blocker, he is going to need to get stronger to improve his blocking ability between the tackles.
Future
Fiammetta is one of the better fullbacks available for the draft. He is arguably the top guy because of his ability to potentially impact the game as a runner, receiver, and blocker. He could end up being the first fullback off the board with a solid showing in workouts.
